The Jaya mid-calf boots are made from scratch-resistant and waterproof CF+ vegan fabric, and they offer tons of barefoot feeling. They’re a great option for a minimal and vegan alternative to leather boots and combat boots, a wardrobe staple for many aesthetics and perfectly functional too!

Ahinsa updated their advice for sizing Spring 2023, but the sizing of the shoes has not changed. You can see their recommendations on their website here.

The overall footprint of the Jaya is bean shaped, suited to those who need more toebox width on the big toe side of the foot. This footprint also caters towards folks with triangle shaped feet and medium to high arches. The toebox has an overall nice-and-roomy wide fit. They taper to fit more sleekly around the heel and ankle.

These vegan boots have some volume adjustability with the lacing, and there are multiple ways to lace tall boots for mobility and comfort. The volume of the foot area suits average to low volume feet best. The cut around the calf and non-gusseted tongue will mean that they will fit most people around the calf.

The back of the heel flares out at the bottom, making them a great choice for customers with protruding heel shapes. If you’re finding there is too much boot behind your heel, try going to the next size down.

The Jaya is made from CF+ material: cruelty-free material that looks no different from leather at first glance. However, it lasts a lot longer than leather and molds to your feet from the first time you wear it.

In shoes made from CF+, your feet can freely breathe and stay dry. It is a w aterproof fabric, though they don't feature an inner waterproof lining so overall these only qualify as water resistant.
