Shapen Fleur Derby Shoes

The Shapen Fleur is an androgynous Derby style dress shoe with an ultra barefoot feel and timeless design. Made in the EU with a mixture of patent and regular leather for visual interest and clean, tidy touches, these will add flair to any outfit while letting your feet move freely!

Featuring a flexible, durable, rubber 3.5mm sole with anti-slip pattern and 3mm of foam midsole with a soft and thin leather footbed. Available in the pinky-beige Rose and all Black colourways.

Sizing

Shapen labels their shoes in European sizing. The Fleur fits true to size, or even a little generously: if you are in between sizes try your smaller size.

Leather stretches and moulds to the shape of your feet as you wear it in. 

The width in this unisex sizing is appropriate for men with average to narrow feet (and average to low volume), and for women with average to wide feet and roughly average volume feet.

The footprint shape is triangular, with a wide toebox that tapers towards a sleek fitting heel. The arch area is lightly sculpted out but the soft material should accommodate lower arches if needed. The toebox shape is very wide and square, even for the outer toes.

Ground Feel

The Fleur’s stack height is very low (just over 6mm) and the materials used are soft and flexible. You will have lots of groundfeel wearing them, meaning you will receive sensory information about the surface you stand on and how you move based on contact with the ground.

More groundfeel can be desirable for skillfully navigating your environment, but it may be overwhelming if you are new to minimal shoes. These shoes do not feel supportive or cushioned; you will feel as if you are barefoot while wearing them.

Patent leather (the shiny area) can simply be wiped with a damp cloth to clean.
