Sizing and Fit Notes

We've found most customers take their usual European sizing in the Geo Court III, and Vivo suggests going up a size if you have wider feet.

The leather will stretch and mould to the shape of your feet as you wear in the Geo Court III.

The men’s version will be wider and taller (higher volume) but about the same length as the women’s version, for example a men’s 41 and a women’s 41 are about the same length.

The Geo Court III suits average to narrow width feet with a sloping toe shape. The lacing can accommodate a variety of volumes. The heel area is more fitted around your ankle to hold your foot securely. If you've tried Vivobarefoot's athletic models, you can expect a similar fit with the Geo Court III.

 

Ground Feel

The Geo Court III has thin soles with lots of ground feel, so for those new to minimal shoes it may be more sensation than you are used to. Normally we recommend starting out with a model that has a thicker and more cushiony sole for your transition to minimal shoes. It is possible to use these as a transition shoe if you can take that process even more slowly and gradually.

Those who are already used to minimal shoes will love the way these shoes give you the sense of direct contact with the ground.

 

Care

The Geo Court III is made from quality Wild Hide leather, the naturally-scarred leather of free-roaming cattle, sourced from small scale farmers in Ethiopia. You can read our care tips for leather here in our Learn area. 

You can wipe the soles down with a damp cloth to clean.

Make sure to store your leather footwear such as Geo Court IIIs away from heat sources like radiators, as this can dry out the leather making it brittle over time. It is recommended with any leather shoes to avoid wearing the same pair two days in a row, you want to alternate with a different pair. Taking care of your leather goods this way and with proper maintenance will ensure they look good and extend their lifespan so you get the most out of them.

Best Uses

The Geo Court III is a tennis sneaker with stitched construction and durable materials, so they’ll be a great day to day fashion sneaker that can handle the court too. The colourways are classic for spring/summer, and they’ll be great to pair with casual or dressier outfits.
