Vivo Primus Trail II All Weather FG Men's CLEARANCE

Rewild and reconnect. Primus Trail All Weather II FG is durable, flexible and vegan, letting you move naturally on the trail, closer to nature. Vivobarefoot's high performance trail running shoe for most weather conditions is here! They feature a lightly lugged grippy sole, soft and breathable recycled all-weather mesh textile uppers, and easy-on/off toggle-pull lacing.

 

Sizing

We find most of our customers take their regular size in this model. The Primus Trail II All Weather FG is unlikely to stretch out over time.

The Primus Trail II All Weather FG has a tapered fit style:

• suits feet that are average to wide in the forefoot and average to narrow in the hindfoot
• suits average to low foot volume, and offers some adjustment to volume through the lacing
• suits variety of toe and forefoot shapes
• those with longer outer toes or very wide feet may want to go a half size up
• Vivobarefoot shoes have a mix between a triangular and bean-shaped overall footprint shape, rather than a rectangular shape
• the Primus Trail II All Weather FG is available in European men's and women's sizing: a 41 men's will be about the same length as a 41 women's, but the men's will be slightly wider and higher volume and vice versa

Ground Feel

The Primus Trail II All Weather FG feels very barefoot for a trail shoe. The stack height is less than 1cm, though the sole material is more firm than a barefoot feeling running shoe: you get a little more protection and a little less flexibility in the sole with the firmer trail sole.

The Primus Trail II All Weather FG provides a medium to high amount of sensation through the sole, and feels close to the ground. Like most Vivobarefoot shoes, there is little give in the soles so they do not feel cushiony. If you are new to minimal shoes and used to thick, stiff soles, you may want to take it slow in this model. If you enjoy when shoes feel as close as possible to being barefoot, you'll likely enjoy this model for nature time.

These stylish trail running shoes are ideal for nature time, whether you're walking a forest trail, hiking the local heights, trail running, or just going to the park. Vivobarefoot's All Weather models are water resistant, not waterproof, and can be worn for cooler spring/fall weather in Canada. We haven't tested them through our winters yet.
