• The Glenn’s sole has the thicker appearance of a typical Oxford but it’s an illusion: it’s actually a cup-like design that wraps the thinner sole up around the upper. • All Xero shoes are zero drop and feature a wide toebox. 

Sizing

Xero recommends your regular size in this model. The Glenn is only available in US men’s sizing.

The leather uppers will stretch a little as you wear them in, but the sole should stay the same.

The Glenn has a high volume fit, so it is a good choice for folks with wide and tall feet.

Their footprint shape is rectangular, so even the heel is fairly wide and it should be comfortable for people with lower arches due to the lack of a “carved out” arch area.

The toebox shape is pretty versatile, but those with square shaped forefeet may want to go half a size up to avoid hitting the front on the outer toes as it does slope there.

Ground Feel

The Glenn provides lots of sensation through the sole, and feels very close to the ground.

If you are new to minimal shoes and used to thick, stiff soles, you may prefer starting off with a more forgiving model.

If you enjoy when shoes feel as close as possible to being barefoot, this would be a great model for you.

The Xero Glenn offers a staple for your masculine wardrobe: where certain jobs and life events require an elevated style these are a great solution. We love the brown colourway with off-white sole for day events with navy or earth tones, and the all black for your traditional black suit events (though they look wonderful with charcoal, too).
