Transition To Minimal Info
Like its predecessor the Active, the Leguano Active Plus has a slipper-like barefoot feeling that can move with you on every articulation of your feet and ankles, they have tons of ground feel and just a little cushioning in the surprisingly durable soft sole. There is no removable insole.
This means they are more appropriate for someone who has already transitioned to minimal shoes when it comes to high impact activities like running. For casual use most of our customers find them immediately comfy and they enjoy the freedom of their shoe moving in any way their foot can move. If you're new to minimal shoes and used to supportive and stiff footwear, use extra caution when starting to wear these and pay attention to the feedback your body sends you.
Machine Washable in cool or warm water, lay flat to dry. Put them in a laundry bag in a medium to full load of similar colours for best results, handwashing is also a great option.

Sizing Note on Width
Leguano models have a narrower design than some of the other brands we carry, though they are wider in the toebox than regular shoes. This means they are ideal for folks with naturally narrower feet (women usually find them wide enough but men with wider feet may wish to look at different brands).
The mesh material is highly breathable and soft, so it will adapt to the shape of your foot, but it does not stretch.
