Be Lenka Bali Slip On CLEARANCE

The Bali is Be Lenka's smart and pretty low cut summer slip-on. The spacious design and flexible materials allow for natural foot movement, providing a light and freeing experience with every step.

The Bali’s textile uppers and Thermoplastic rubber soles are vegan friendly. This model is made in Portugal, and the detailing with tiny colour accents is quite beautiful! Their flexible 4mm outsole combined with a wide toe box makes walking in the Bali a dream. You can wear them with or without the included insole.

Sizing

We find most of our customers take their regular European size in this model or go one size down. 

The Bali has a wide fit style in unisex EU sizes:

• has a very wide forefoot, and narrows towards the heel
• works for very low and medium low volume feet best, but they will stretch a little bit
• suits a variety of foot shapes, but ideal for those who want more room on the big toe side, with slope and plateau forefoot shapes
• If you have a square shaped forefoot (longer outer toes,) refrain from sizing down
• Be Lenka leaf-sole models have a very wide bean-shaped footprint that skews towards the big toe, rather than a triangle shape or a rectangle shape

Their size chart indicates the inner length and width of the shoes in centimeters. Be Lenka recommends adding an excess of 0.5 - 1.2 cm to the total length of your foot, which will give you your ideal shoe size.

Ground Feel

The Bali slip-ons have thin soles that help you experience the texture of the terrain and allow for the mobilisation of small joints in the feet when you're on non-flat surfaces.

For those new to barefoot and minimal shoes and unused to very thin soles, you may want to try something a bit more forgiving for all day wear first. Alternately you can start very slowly with a very barefoot feeling shoe like the Bali.

For those who seek as much barefoot feeling as possible and who have restored some of the strength, mobility, and skill in their feet, you'll likely enjoy wearing these.

Care

For fabric shoes with rubber soles, we recommend spot cleaning as needed and handwashing only if necessary with a gentle solution of mostly water and a tiny bit of colour safe laundry liquid. Lay flat to dry. Do not put these in the washing machine, nor in the dryer. You can wipe down the soles with soapy water and a clean rag.
