Its slightly thicker 6.5 mm sole is ideal for anyone new to barefoot or on their feet all day who still want some ground feel without compromising on comfort.

Features

• The Bellissima 2.0 is a made largely using non-vegan materials such as a leather upper and lining with a microfiber and latex mix used for the insole. This makes it not suitable for vegans
• To optimize breathability and minimize overheating, the Bellissima 2.0 uses a delicate leather lining 
• The removable insole comes with an "anti-slip layer" to prevent the insole from riding up as you wear the shoe
• The extra stitching on the outer sole of the shoe provides extra durability to prevent the sole from separating
• The cut outs on the side of the shoe allow for some extra air flow during those hot summer days
• Being a more casual style, the grip on the sole won't be suitable for any rougher or uneven terrain 
• The Bellissima 2.0 are completely zero drop

Sizing

The Bellissima 2.0 is expected to fit slightly larger based on reviews left on the official Be Lenka website. It uses EU gendered sizing and is specifically designed to fit the "female foot" making the Bellissima 2.0 ideal for anyone with narrower feet and a narrow toe box . 

The elastic detail situated in the middle of each band on the sides of the shoe will automatically customize to the fit of your foot to help the shoe fit better and reducing the amount of time needed to break in and soften the leather . 

 

Fit Notes:

• Since the Bellissima 2.0 is a leather shoe, it is expected to stretch out slightly. However, the partial elastic band can help prevent the leather from loosening up to the point where the shoe begins slipping off
• The Bellissima 2.0 is expected to fit a range of different foot volumes seeing as there is minimal material covering a majority of the upper and mid foot
• Since the Bellissima 2.0 is designed using gendered sizing and is catered towards a "female foot", it is expected to fit narrower and is best for people with a narrow to average foot shape
• The toe box of the Bellissima 2.0 is expected to fit narrow ranging from 3.4 inch in a size 36 to 3.9 inch in a size 43

Ground Feel

The Bellissima 2.0 measures at a total of 6.5 mm with a 2.5 mm removable insole and a 4 mm outer sole excluding the lugs. Compared to our other flats, the Bellissima 2.0 provides some extra cushioning with the removable insole without compromising on the ground feel and flexibility. 

This makes the Bellissima 2.0 ideal for anyone who is new to minimal shoes or who might be familiar with minimal shoes, but looking for something that provides some extra cushioning.

Care

As with any leather, the Bellissima 2.0 needs some care to continue looking good long-term. The leather can be spot-cleaned (especially the Rose Gold color) with a damp cloth or a small amount of vinegar or gentle soap to remove mud and other debris.
