The Be Lenka Bellissima 2.0 is the perfect do-it-all shoe whether it's for work, daily wear or a night out, this charming ballerina flat can do it all. Its slightly thicker 6.5 mm sole is ideal for anyone new to barefoot or on their feet all day who still want some ground feel without compromising on comfort.

Features

  • The Bellissima 2.0 is a made largely using non-vegan materials such as a leather upper and lining with a microfiber and latex mix used for the insole. This makes it not suitable for vegans
  • The Toffee Brown colour has a suede texture, the other colours are regular leather finish
  • To optimize breathability and minimize overheating, the Bellissima 2.0 uses a delicate leather lining 
  • The removable insole comes with an "anti-slip layer" to prevent the insole from riding up as you wear the shoe
  • The extra stitching on the outer sole of the shoe provides extra durability to prevent the sole from separating
  • The cut outs on the side of the shoe allow for some extra air flow during those hot summer days
  • Being a more casual style, the grip on the sole won't be suitable for any rougher or uneven terrain 
  • The Bellissima 2.0 are completely zero drop 
  • Compared to some of our other flats, the Bellissima 2.0 provides some extra cushioning with its removable insole making it ideal for anyone looking for some ground feel without compromising cushioning

Sizing

The Arise sneaker is expected to fit true to size with Barebarics recommending having an extra 0.5 cm in length to accommodate the foot properly. 

Barebarics offers European unisex sizing and so sizes are based on length and width of the foot.

Fit Notes:

  • The leather on the Arise sneaker is expected to soften overtime without stretching to the point of altering the shoe size
  • The Arise sneaker favors a more bean shaped foot with a round toebox
  • The laces allow the shoe to be adjusted to fit your foot 
  • The soles of the Arise sneaker will initially be stiffer than those of most models we carry, which may cause some restriction in foot movement at first; however, after a few wears, this is expected to diminish
  • Based on our research, there is also slight rigidity in the upper material of the shoe at first but after a break in period, the upper softens
Ground feel

The Barebarics Arise has overall less ground feel than most of the models we carry, which is largely attributed to its stiffer rubber sole. A stiffer sole initially contributes to reduced movement; however, with some wear and after a break-in period, it should loosen. 

The recycled PU insole is removable and can enhance ground feel while reducing some rigidity. Additionally, due to the leather upper, the sneaker is expected to soften and loosen slightly over time without altering the size of the shoe. 

Given the slight cushioning in the sneaker, this model is ideal for anyone who is new to wearing minimal shoes or for those who have been wearing them for a while but are looking for something that provides a bit of extra comfort.
