Most customers go half a size up.

Lems uses unisex American sizing, with both a men’s and women’s size on most of their shoes. That means there is only one width option for each length option.

As a transition shoe:

Due to the medium groundfeel and flexibility, these shoes are great for most people to transition with. While it’s still important to pay attention to your body’s limits, these shoes may require less changes to your routine if you’re new to barefoot.

The uppers are a synthetic mesh. Brush off dried dirt and spot clean with a mild detergent solution. Do not use a machine washer or dryer, hand wash sparingly if needed, remove the insoles and lay flat to dry.

The Lems Primal Zen is an all purpose athletic shoe for casual use, running, light hikes, and light workouts. They provide a medium amount of cushioning so they’re perfect for beginners trying barefoot shoes for the first time. They’re also great if you are going to be on your feet for long periods, such as at work or while traveling.
