Ahinsa Street Hemp High-top Sneakers

The Street Hemp high-top fits generously, a lot of customers will go a size down in this model.

Ahinsa uses unisex European sizing. They provide two sets of sizes (one for men and one for women) but we've put them together here since the shoes themselves are the same, just with different size options.

Fit Notes:

• Hemp does not stretch out very much.
• Ahinsa shoes have a bean-like footprint shape, they have a curve and a taper.
• Medium to high volume
• Average width in the heel and quite wide in the toes
• The fit can be adjusted via the laces
• The toebox shape is ideal for mountain shape toes (second toe longer then sloped) but with their generous fit they can suit a few forefoot shapes.
• Width in the forefoot skews toward the big toe.
• The fabrics around the heel and ankle is flexible enough to accommodate protruding heels and flatter heels.

The Street Hemp High-top sole is very thin and flexible, resulting in a very high ground feel.

The German Lifo+ Pura outsole is lightweight, and as flexible as your feet. This material is an extra-durable German compound that won't scuff easily. At a total of 5mm the Street is one of the thinnest soled models we offer (there may be a slight difference between outsole thickness and total stack height due to lining and joining layers).

We recommend the Street for folks who want to feel as close to barefoot as possible. If you’re new to barefoot shoes, we suggest starting slow and researching transition to avoid injury.

Outsole and white toe-cap: wipe clean with a damp cloth and water.

Hemp portion of uppers: spot clean with a damp cloth using a pinch of colour-safe detergent in lukewarm water.
