Sizing system used: Altra uses gendered American Sizing, with women’s or men’s sizes on the label. A men’s 9 will be similar in length to a women’s 10.5, however the men’s sizing is wider and higher volume throughout.

Due to the low groundfeel and low flexibility, these shoes are great for transitioning for those used to stiff, supportive shoes, and wanting a gradual change. You’ll still get the benefits of zero drop and a wider toebox, while causing as little disruption to your day to day experience as possible. Sometimes runners will also choose a shoe like this as their first zero drop shoe.

The uppers are a synthetic mesh. Brush off dried dirt and spot clean with a mild detergent solution. Do not use a machine washer or dryer, hand wash sparingly if needed, remove the insoles and lay flat to dry. Spray with waterproofing if desired to repel mud and prevent stains before they happen.
