Barebarics Zing High-Top Sneakers

The Zing sneaker is expected to fit true to size with Barebarics recommending having an extra 0.5 cm in length to accommodate the foot properly. 

Barebarics offers European unisex sizing and so sizes are based on length and width of the foot.

Fit Notes:

• The leather on the Zing sneaker is expected to soften over time without stretching to the point of altering the shoe size
• The Zing sneaker favors a more bean shaped foot with a round toebox
• The laces allow the shoe to be adjusted to fit your foot 
• The soles of the Zing sneaker will initially be stiffer than those of most models we carry, which may cause some restriction in foot movement at first; however, after a few wears, this is expected to diminish
• Based on our research, there is also slight rigidity in the upper material of the shoe at first but after a break in period, the upper softens

The Barebarics Zing has overall less ground feel than most of the models we carry, which is largely attributed to its stiffer rubber sole. A stiffer sole initially contributes to reduced movement; however, with some wear and after a break-in period, it should loosen. 

The recycled PU insole is removable and can enhance ground feel while reducing some rigidity. Additionally, due to the leather upper, the sneaker is expected to soften and loosen slightly over time without altering the size of the shoe. 

Given the slight cushioning in the sneaker, this model is ideal for anyone who is new to wearing minimal shoes or for those who have been wearing them for a while but are looking for something that provides a bit of extra comfort.
