Origo Huarache Wide by Anya

We are still learning about the sizing for this model. While Origo’s size charts suggested sizing down in our tests, we found it was better to wear your usual size instead. Please ask if you have any questions.

Origo made the Huarache Wide in unisex US sizing, so a men’s 7 and a women’s 8.5 are the same pair of shoes.

Fit Notes:

• We expect the leather to stretch and mold to the shape of your feet with wear.
• Triangular footprint shape
• Best suited for medium to high-volume feet
• Best suited for average to wide at the forefoot
• The fit is not adjustable
• Plateau shaped wide toebox is pretty spacious
• Width in the forefoot area is: centered

The Huarache Wide’s low stack height and flexible materials allow for high ground feel and high flexibility.

These will bend and flex with your feet, so if you like your shoes to feel as barefoot as possible they are a great pick! They do not feature cushioning, but the natural rubber outsole may absorb a tiny bit of impact sensation. Overall the experience feels barefoot.

If you are new to barefoot shoes and used to stiff, cushiony footwear, please research transitioning gradually and take it slowly if you choose the Huarache Wide.

Leather care involves regular maintenance. You can get this done by a professional or do it at home. We recommend cleaning your leather shoes with gentle products meant for leather, and using conditioning cream to enhance the softness of your leather shoes while protecting them and extending their life span. Store leather products away from direct sun and heat sources.
