As a transition shoe: Caution needed
Due to the high groundfeel and high flexibility, those new to barefoot would want to transition carefully and gradually with this model. You might start out only wearing them for short periods of time with lower impact activities.

The uppers are nubuck leather. Brush off loose dirt and dried mud. Use a damp cloth to wipe the leather then the soles clean. Air dry, then use your preferred leather conditioner. Leather should be stored away from heat sources.

The Shapen Urbaneer boots will do great as your everyday fall and winter boots and are dressy enough to wear to parties or date night. The soles are grippier on snow and ice than they look, but these boots are most suitable for city environments.
