Shapen Versa Leather Loafer

Most customers go a size down in this model.

Shapen uses EU sizing geared towards women.

They offer two width options. Regular is appropriate for average to narrow widths. Wide is appropriate for average to wider feet.

Fit Notes:

• Leather can stretch a little and mold to the shape of your feet
• Footprint shape is rectangular for the Regular width
• Volume is low to average for the Regular width

• As a slip-on model the Versa does not have an adjustable fit
• Toebox shape for Regular width suits Plateau, Slope, and Mountain forefoot shapes best
• Width in the forefoot area is: centered

The Versa has a very thin and flexible sole, only 3mm for the outsole. They are not cushioned and have lots of groundfeel.

As the Versa is already fairly low volume, there may not be room to add a cushiony insole.

We recommend it for folks who want to feel as close to barefoot as possible. If you’re new to barefoot shoes, start very gradually and research transitioning.

You can use leather conditioner on the Versa to keep the materials hydrated, looking their best, and to extend their life span.

The Shapen Versa is designed for looking good in formal environments and occasions where you are moving casually. They are great for the office or special events. They are not designed as a “daily driver,” nor are they designed for athletic use. They can be styled with suits, dresses, and more casual wear when you just need a quick slip-on.
