Xero Ridgeway Chelsea Women's

The Ridgeway Chelsea runs snug. Xero recommends going half a size up.

Xero uses American gendered sizing for this model. The men’s and women’s sizing are different by 1.5 sizes: a women’s 10.5 is the same length as the men’s 9. However, the men’s versions are wider and taller throughout, more suited to high volume feet.

Fit Notes:

• Leather will stretch and mold to the shape of your feet

• The only adjustment you can make to the fit is to wear with or without the optional insole, or wear thicker or thinner socks

The Ridgeway Chelsea has medium groundfeel and flexibility.

These have a lot more groundfeel and flexibility than conventional competitors, but not as much as the most barefoot feeling athletic shoes we offer. They will become more soft and flexible as the leather wears in. The stack height is around 1cm.

Leather lasts longer and looks better with regular maintenance. You can wipe these off with a damp cloth day to day, and when they need a bit of TLC use a leather conditioner to maintain the integrity, water resistance and flexibility of the uppers.

Do not store leather next to heat sources.

The Ridgeway Chelsea’s convenience and style are big selling points, not to mention their chunky tread that will be at home on grass, trails, and city sidewalks.

They are a great fall and spring boot, but definitely not designed for Canadian winter. That said, they’d be a great “keep at the office boot” with their easy on-off!
